Equip Africa, Thika inspected by TVETA

The 4th of July 2019 marked another big step for Equip Africa Institute after a successful inspection of its Thika Campus by the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA). The Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) is a public corporate agency established under the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Act No. 29 of 2013 to regulate and coordinate training in the country through licensing, registration and accreditation of programs, institutions and trainers.

The inspection visit by a team of TVETA assessors sought to establish the Institute’s compliance with set standards. It focussed on Equip Africa’s capacity to mount selected courses and the relevance of training programmes to the national technical and vocational training objectives. Equip Africa institute, Thika has through its founder heavily invested in technical training facilities, human resources, and industrial partnerships to produce learners with the right competencies and attitudes required to serve the society.

  • Faculty of Computing and Informatics
  • Faculty of Hospitality Travel and Tourism Management

The Thika Campus, is the second Equip Africa Institute campus to be accredited after Equip Africa Institute, Nairobi Campus which was accredited in 2016.
