Equip Africa opens Thika Campus

Equip Africa Institute, Thika Campus is the newest kid in the block! After a successful launch of two TVET institutes; Equip Africa Institute – Nairobi Campus in 2016, and Equip Africa College of Medical & Health Sciences in 2017, Equip Africa Thika Campus seeks to replicate on the successes of its 2 predecessors to deliver high quality competence-based programs that are responsive to market skill gaps. This is in line with Kenya’s Vision 2030 Social and Economic pillars.

Located within Mount Kenya University’s main campus in Thika, the TVET institution will offer competence-based Diploma, Certificate and Artisan courses in faculties of Social Sciences, Business Studies, Engineering, Health Sciences, Computing & Informatics, Hospitality, Travel &Tourism Management, Pure & Applied Sciences, and Education.

Equip Africa has already stamped her authority in the TVET sector by offering unparalleled technical and vocational training backed by heavy investments in learning and training facilities, experienced teaching staff, and rich industry partnerships that facilitate the placement of trainees during industrial attachments and internships. The Institute’s campuses also leverage on Mount Kenya University’s synergies to attain excellence in technical and vocational training.
