The Certificate in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning course is designed to equip an individual with competencies for installing, servicing, troubleshooting and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration units.

Entry Requirements

a) Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E.) with a minimum mean grade of C- (minus)

Or

b) Equivalent qualifications as determined by Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA)

Assessment

The course will be assessed at two levels: internally and externally. Internal assessment is continuous and is conducted by the trainer who is monitored by an internal accredited verifier while external assessment is the responsibility of TVET CDACC.

Certification

On successful completion of all units of learning, a trainee will be awarded a Certificate in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning issued by TVET CDACC in conjunction with Equip Africa Institute.
