Certificate in Human Resource Management

The Certificate in Human Resource Management course is intended for human resource managers, interested persons and others who deal with employees in one way or the other. The course curriculum has been designed for competency based training and has independent units of learning that allow the trainee flexibility in entry and exit.

Entry Requirements

An individual entering this course should have any of the following minimum requirements:
a) Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D+ (plus)
Or
b) Certificate in Dairy Farm Management Level 4
Or
c) Equivalent qualifications as determined by Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA)

Assessment

The course will be assessed at two levels; Internal assessment conducted continuously by the trainer (internal assessor) who is monitored by an accredited internal verifier, and external assessment conducted by an accredited external assessor who is monitored by an accredited external verifier. The assessors and verifiers are accredited by TVET CDACC which also coordinates external assessment.

Certification

A Certificate in Human Resource Management will be awarded after an individual demonstrates competence in all the units of competency. These certificates will be awarded by TVET CDACC in conjunction with Equip Africa Institute.
