The Certificate in Human Resource Management course is intended for human resource managers, interested persons and others who deal with employees in one way or the other. The course curriculum has been designed for competency based training and has independent units of learning that allow the trainee flexibility in entry and exit.
An individual entering this course should have any of the following minimum requirements:
a) Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) C-(Minus)
b) Those who have practiced in a functional nursery for more than one year.
c) Horticultural Human Resource Management level 5 with at least one year continuous experience in the industry
d) Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Competence Certificate from a recognised assessment centre on any of the units of competency in human resource management
e) Equivalent qualifications as determined by Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA)
The course will be assessed at two levels; Internal assessment conducted continuously by the trainer (internal assessor) who is monitored by an accredited internal verifier, and external assessment conducted by an accredited external assessor who is monitored by an accredited external verifier. The assessors and verifiers are accredited by TVET CDACC which also coordinates external assessment.
A Diploma in Human Resource Management will be awarded after an individual demonstrates competence in all the units of competency. These certificates will be awarded by TVET CDACC in conjunction with Equip Africa Institute.
